Good morning Krafty Friends! Melanie here, and I'm your Krafty Girl hostess this week which means that I was able to select one of my favourite themes for the the challenge: Vintage/Distress!  I absolutely love using papers, colour schemes and embellishments with a vintage feel.  It is definitely my comfort zone for krafty projects.  This week, I used one of our fabulous clear stamp sets, Teacup Fairy.  Since I gravitate towards vintage papers, I have quite a selection to choose from.  I was thrilled to find the perfect Graphic 45 paper to go with Annie's sweet fairy...it's like these papers were made for this stamp!  Teacup fairy was stamped with a light ink and coloured with Copics.  I stamped the teacup portion directly onto the patterned paper and added shading with Copics. I then pieced the two together and gave her wings a little sparkle with a Wink of Stella Zig marker. Although I did not use a stamped sentiment, Teacup Fairy comes with a selection of fantastic coordinating sentiments perfect to use with the image, or to complete the inside of your card.

I hope you plan to play along!
